Az Ellenállók Nemzetközi Szövetsége (FIR) – Antifasiszták Szövetsége
üdvözli a Felszabadítás Napja, a Győzelem Napja és a "halhatatlan ezred"
megemlékezés valamennyi résztvevőjét. 1945. május 8/9-e a világ
valamennyi részén lévő antifasisztái számára „az emberi történelem
hajnala“ (Peter Gingold) és az is marad. A világ számos részén ezt a
napot méltóan megünneplik. A fasiszta barbarizmus áldozatainak emléke és
a fasizmus elleni harc mindannyiunk számára állandóan aggodalomra okot
ad.
Együtt emlékezünk a családtagokra, barátokra és rokonokra,
országaink politikusaira és személyiségeire, akik mint partizánok,
ellenállók és a Hitler-ellenes koalícióban résztvevők életüket adták
hazájuk szabadságáért és a fasiszta militarista gépezet katonai
megsemmisítéséért.
Mi mindnyájan nyilvános ellenjelet küldünk a
történelemhamisítások aggasztó kísérleteivel, az SS bűnözők
rehabilitációival, a felszabadítók nyilvános emlékhelyeinek
lerombolásával szemben, amelyeknek a balti államokban, Lengyelországban,
Ukrajnában és néhány balkáni államban vagyunk tanúi.
Ezzel az
emlékeztetővel azt a világos üzenetet küldjük, hogy 1945. május 8-a
jelmondata a „Soha többé háborút!” napjainkban is időszerű. A NATO
országok nemzetközi jogi mandátum nélküli Szíria ellen rakétatámadással
elkövetett közelmúltbeli katonai eszkalációja mutatja közös békeharcunk
létfontosságú jelentőségét, hogy megakadályozzunk egy új világháborút.
Mi ezt társítjuk azzal az elkötelezettséggel, hogy folytatjuk az
egykori harcosok és túlélők örökségét, miként az a buchenwaldi
koncentrációs tábor egykori rabjainak 1945. április 19-én kelt
„Buchenwald esküben” célként megfogalmazódott: „a nácizmus gyökerestől
történő megsemmisítése és a béke és szabadság új világának
megteremtése”.

The International Federation of
Resistance Fighters (FIR) - Association of Anti-Fascists greets all
participants of the Day of Liberation, the Day of Victory and the
commemorative "Immortal Regiment". May 8/9, 1945 is and remains for
Antifascists in all parts of the world the "dawn of human history"
(Peter Gingold). In many places in the world, this day will be
celebrated worthily. The memory of the victims of fascist barbarism and
the fighters against fascism is a permanent concern for all of us.
Together, we remember family members, friends and relatives, our
political companions and personalities from our countries who, as
partisans, resistance fighters and in the ranks of the anti-Hitler
coalition, gave their lives for the freedom of their homeland and the
military destruction of the fascist military machinery.
We all
send a public counter-signal against frightening attempts to
falsification of history, to rehabilitate SS criminals, to destroy
memorial sites to liberators in the public space, as we register in
particular in the Baltic States, Poland, Ukraine and some Balkan states.
With this reminder, we send out a clear signal that the slogan of May
8, 1945 "Never again war!" is still relevant today. The recent military
escalation by missile attacks of NATO countries without an international
law mandate against Syria shows the existential importance of our joint
peace struggle to prevent a new world war.
We associate this
with the obligation to carry on the political legacy of the former
fighters and survivors, as it says in the "oath of Buchenwald" of the
former prisoners of the Buchenwald concentration camp on 19 April 1945:
"the destruction of Nazism with its roots and the creation of a new
world of peace and freedom ".
